The Lab Ran is a fun and colorful paperback book that gives children an opportunity to begin reading words with eleven consonant sounds and the short a sound.

In this book, two friends, Pan and Ann, love books! One day, Pan's dog Bax is trying to get her attention becasue she needs help. Students will learn what happened when Pan ignores Bax. This book, along with all of our books, includes three comprehension questions and discussion prompts.
