Our Level Two Teacher Guide provides phonics-based lesson plans to prepare students to build fluency with digraphs and short vowels. Reading Ready for Whole Phonics is grounded in conceptual research and theoretical models from the field of reading science. The program was designed to translate research into practice to address all the essential components of literacy determined by the National Reading Panel (2000).
Each scripted lesson includes:

Each unit typically spans two weeks, focusing on one new sound. The volume of practice materials allows teachers to adjust pacing, enabling differentiation. This guide should be used with the Level One Whole Phonics decodable books and workbooks.
