In alignment with Ohio’s commitment to the science of reading (ORC 3313.6028), Whole Phonics offers a powerful solution for students requiring targeted literacy support. We are proud to be recognized by the Ohio Department of Education and Workforce (ODEW) as an approved provider of high-quality reading intervention.

• Nature of Approval: Whole Phonics is included on the Approved List of Evidence-Based Reading Intervention Programs. This means our materials have been rigorously vetted to ensure they are explicit, systematic, and completely free of the "three-cueing" approach prohibited by state law.

• Target Grade Levels: Specifically approved for Grades K–5 intervention.

• Funding: Use of Whole Phonics is eligible for state subsidy funding under the $64 million allocation set aside for science of reading-aligned materials.
