Our Off We Go Reader Set is comprised of 8 vibrant titles designed to reinforce foundational reading skills in full length text with a narrative arc. Each book is 12 pages long and is dedicated to a group of consonant sounds and the short a vowel sound.

Inside the cover of every book includes discussion prompts, three comprehension questions, and outlines the sounds, high frequency words, and special vocabulary needed for children to successfully read these decodable books.

Setting the stage:The language in the Off We Go! beginning-to-read series is limited due to the sound-driven choice of words. Children will benefit from discussion to set the stage for the plot. Prior to reading, teachers should engage students with the prompts listed inside each book. By doing so, the stories in Off We Go! promote reading comprehension and oral language development.
