Our Level 1 Reading Ready for Whole Phonics teacher's guide offers clear and comprehensive daily lesson plans designed to promote emergent reading skills and ultimately equip students for reading Level 1 Whole Phonics^TM decodable readers. These scripted lesson plans are explicit, systematic and multimodal. Each lesson includes phonemic awareness exercises, letter-sound practice, word work, reading decodable books with engaging storylines, and writing practice. Please be aware that the Level 1 decodable books used alongside this manual are available for purchase separately. The instructional focus for our Level 1 teacher's guide is CVC words with short vowels and includes instruction for 28 high frequency words.
